The Mangar ELK emergency lifting cushion is an inflatable lifting device designed to help Caregivers lift someone from the floor after a fall. Lightweight and portable, the ELK inflatable emergency lifting cushion can lift up to 1,000 lbs and is particularly good for lift assists in confined spaces such as bathrooms and hallways. The Airflo Compressor is battery powered meaning it can be used anywhere, inside or out, and does not need to be near a mains point for power, making it perfect for a home environment or on days out.

Simple to use, the Caregiver gently positions the fallen person onto the lifting cushion and inflates the ELK cushion using a hand control. The Mangar ELK is then gradually inflated whilst the carer stands behind them for support.

Powered by an Airflo Compressor, the ELK inflatable emergency lifting cushion has four cushions which are inflated one by one until the fallen person can be transferred to a seat or is able to stand.

From set up to inflation, the process takes just a couple of minutes, meaning you can deliver a lift assist quickly and avoid leaving someone on the floor for long periods of time while waiting for help.

The ELK lifting cushion reduces the risk of accidents or injuries for both the Caregiver and the user. The repetitive nature of lifting someone with a propensity to fall regularly can severely impact the health of the Caregiver, causing back pain and muscle injury.
